Sweet Seasons features a staff of friendly, helpful, knowledgeable
personnel, who are dedicated to making everyone's shopping experience
enjoyable and memorable.
In 1997, the original Sweet Seasons by the Lakes was purchased
by Marlene Bettin and featured gifts, as well as home
decor, collectibles and antiques.
In 2000, Marlene and her husband
opened a second store in downtown Alexandria. Sweet Seasons Downtown
is a 100 year old building, restored to it's original tin ceiling
and hardwood floors. It features 4,000 square feet filled with
additional home decor, gifts, collectibles and antiques.
In 2003, SweetSeasonGifts.com was established as an online shopping
extension of the existing stores. SweetSeasonGifts.com has been
designed to provide our online customers many of the same great
products found in our stores.
In 2004, the original lakes store was sold to allow us to focus
our efforts on the main downtown store and on Sweetseasonsgifts.com.
